Description:
Samsara, a leader in IoT and Connected Operations™ Cloud, is looking for an Account Development Representative (ADR) to join its fast-paced sales team in London, UK. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a sales career within a high-growth technology company.
As an ADR, you will be responsible for driving pipeline growth for the EMEA business, generating new opportunities via outbound outreach, and working closely with Account Executives to develop strong customer relationships. This role provides a structured career path, with successful ADRs having the potential to progress into a closing Account Executive role within two years.
This hybrid position requires working from Samsara’s London office (1 Alie Street, Aldgate East, E1 8DE) two days per week.
✅ Drive new business pipeline through personalized outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn).
✅ Engage with prospective customers, understanding their needs and presenting Samsara’s Connected Operations™ solutions.
✅ Participate in trade shows and events to represent Samsara and connect with new customers.
✅ Become a product expert, learning Samsara’s sales methodology and customer engagement strategies.
✅ Utilize Salesforce (CRM) and sales tools to maintain meticulous records of customer interactions and insights.
✅ Champion Samsara’s cultural principles, including Customer Success, Growth Mindset, Inclusivity, and Teamwork.
✔ 1-3 years of professional experience, including at least 6-12 months in sales.
✔ Track record of exceeding sales targets in previous roles.
✔ Highly motivated, target-driven, and resilient in a fast-paced sales environment.
✔ Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), with strong ability to engage potential customers.
✔ Curious mindset with the ability to ask insightful questions and understand business needs.
✔ Proficiency in English (required).
✔ Ability to work in a hybrid model (London office, 2 days per week).

🔹 Proven record of personal achievements (academic, sports, leadership, or charity work).
🔹 Ability to work in a collaborative, team-driven environment.
🔹 Interest in IoT, SaaS, and digital transformation for industrial and operational businesses.
🔹 Resilience in handling rejection and persistence in sales outreach.
Samsara offers a structured ADR career pathway with three levels of advancement:
1️⃣ ADR I – Focuses on handling inbound leads, building foundational sales skills, and learning about Samsara’s products.
2️⃣ ADR II – Transitions into outbound prospecting, creating high-quality sales engagements, and working alongside Account Executives.
3️⃣ ADR III – Works directly with Enterprise Sales teams, implementing territory plans, participating in strategic meetings, and preparing for promotion to Account Executive roles.
