Description:
Veristat, a global leader in accelerating life-changing therapies for patients worldwide, is seeking an Account Development Specialist II to join its business development team. This role is pivotal to Veristat’s Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy and contributes directly to achieving company growth and revenue targets.
The successful candidate will focus on developing new accounts and fostering growth within existing target accounts by generating qualified meetings and driving new business opportunities through to RFP stages. This involves conducting targeted outreach, crafting customized messaging, and collaborating with marketing and business development teams to execute effective account development strategies.
The role requires a proactive, analytical, and strategic thinker who is comfortable making cold calls, managing CRM data, and engaging with executives and decision-makers across the life sciences and clinical research sectors.
Conduct personalized outreach via phone and electronic media to targeted accounts.
Research accounts, prospects, and products to craft customized communications highlighting Veristat’s solutions.
Generate qualified meetings and drive opportunities to the RFP stage.
Document all activities and follow established processes to ensure pipeline accuracy.
Assist with capabilities meetings, campaign outreach, and lead progression.
Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, and Account Development teams on growth initiatives.
Participate in process improvements, training sessions, and internal projects as required.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 2+ years in inside sales or sales; relevant experience in CRO or life sciences is required.
Proficiency in Excel (including pivots, formulas, v-lookups, and graphs), Outlook, LinkedIn, and web navigation tools.
Experience with CRM database management (Salesforce preferred).
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with executives professionally.
Comfortable making cold calls and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
