Description:

A growing independent strategic communications agency is hiring an Account Director or Senior Account Director to lead a major global client portfolio. Specializing in perception-changing campaigns for leading brands and governments, the agency is expanding rapidly and looking for an experienced leader to shape and execute complex, integrated strategies across diverse markets.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong backgrounds in corporate communications or social media marketing, who are skilled in managing high-impact, multi-market campaigns. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, the successful candidate will guide a small team, manage strategic planning, and lead client relationships with a focus on global collaboration, particularly in South Asia and the Middle East.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for large-scale, integrated client engagements.

  • Guide long-term planning for clients beyond tactical outputs and daily deliverables.

  • Lead and mentor a small internal team, nurturing professional development and performance.

  • Coordinate with a network of international partner agencies to deliver culturally relevant, localised campaigns.

  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects through effective prioritisation and delegation.

  • Identify growth opportunities, proactively adding value to client accounts.

  • Evaluate and refine creative assets, offering strategic insights with a socially-led perspective.

  • Report directly to the Client Services Director and provide operational feedback and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive experience in agency environments, particularly in corporate communications, PR, or social/digital marketing.

  • Strong record of leading integrated campaigns across international markets.

  • Excellent communication, client relationship, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • High level of organization, initiative, and strategic foresight.

  • Thrives in fast-paced, evolving settings while maintaining a collaborative team approach.

  • Comfortable managing both strategic oversight and hands-on execution.
