3E, a mission-driven company dedicated to enabling a safer, more sustainable world, is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Account Manager (Mid-Market German Speaker) to join their commercial team. With over 35 years of expertise, 3E provides data, analytics, and software solutions that improve workplace and chemical safety, product stewardship, supply chain management, and sustainability for more than 5,000 customers worldwide.

As an Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of customers post-sale, ensuring retention, driving product adoption, and identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts. This role demands strong relationship-building, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to supporting clients’ regulatory and compliance needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Account Ownership: Manage assigned accounts from post-sale handoff through renewal and expansion, aligning products with customer objectives.

  • Cross-sell & Expansion: Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, especially for product safety and stewardship services.

  • Customer Satisfaction: Act as a trusted advisor, fostering strong relationships and mobilizing product champions within client organizations.

  • Forecasting & Growth Planning: Monitor account health, plan user/usage growth, and accurately forecast pipeline opportunities.

  • Renewals & Pricing: Lead renewal processes, manage price adjustments, and ensure accurate invoicing and timely payments.

  • Consultative Selling: Conduct quarterly business reviews, develop proposals, and collaborate with internal experts to align with client needs.

  • Voice of the Customer: Provide feedback to influence product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and go-to-market initiatives.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of proven success in B2B account management with focus on revenue growth and client retention.

  • Experience in technology, IT, subscription-based regulatory solutions, or SaaS is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to engage senior stakeholders.

  • Expertise in Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools.

  • Fluency in German is mandatory.

  • Ability to travel up to 30% within Europe.
