Description:

Gallagher, a global leader in insurance brokerage and risk management, is seeking a Corporate Account Manager to join its Charities & Care team in Stretford. This role offers a dynamic and collaborative environment within a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional service to clients while managing risk with precision and professionalism.

As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing a high-quality service to both new and existing corporate clients. Working closely with Account Executives, you will be responsible for advising, arranging, and securing appropriate insurance cover to meet clients’ unique needs. You’ll maintain strong client relationships, handle complex accounts, and ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day account management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, handling daily enquiries, policy amendments, and cover confirmations.

  • Prepare documentation such as PRISM summaries, PRQ reports, and client meeting notes.

  • Attend client meetings and action follow-ups promptly.

  • Manage all client communications and documentation updates in Acturis, ensuring all details are accurate and current.

  • Prepare and present market presentations, negotiate insurance terms, and secure competitive pricing and policy coverage.

  • Handle policy instructions, issue documentation, invoices, and process payments.

  • Manage renewals, cancellations, and ensure all account queries are addressed in a timely manner.

  • Build and maintain relationships with insurers, brokers, and other internal/external stakeholders.

  • Provide training and mentorship for junior team members as needed.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of insurance principles, risk management, and product coverage.

  • Experience handling corporate insurance accounts, preferably within the Charities or Care sector.

  • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills with close attention to detail.

  • Effective communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Acturis, and E-trade platforms.

  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities within regulatory frameworks.

  • A collaborative team player with leadership potential.

  • Working toward or holding Cert CII / ACII certification is desirable.
