I am working with a modern, forward thinking firm of Accountants with a large and varied client portfolio. As a result of continued growth, they are now looking for an Accountant to join their team.
This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic firm and work with a great team of people in a varied role where you will have regular client contact. You will work with a diverse range of clients from a range of sectors including manufacturing, construction, retail and consultancy. These will be mainly be small limited companies or owner managed businesses – many of which are locally based and growing rapidly.
Responsibilities will include:

• Drafting year end accounts and corporate tax returns
• Supporting the manager in finalising accounts and liaising with the client to ensure all deadlines are met.
• Preparing VAT returns and providing support with bookkeeping as needed

Applicants will need to be able to draft year end accounts will have a good grasp of corporate tax. You be part qualified or just have the relevant experience but you will need to demonstrate an eye for details, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
