Accounts Payable Lead

As the Accounts Payable Lead, you will manage supplier relationships, ensure compliance with KPIs and SLAs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounts Payable process. You will also act as a key liaison between the business and external service providers, supporting stakeholder management across finance, procurement, suppliers, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage approximately £1.5 billion in payments and 165,000 invoices annually

• Oversee £500 million worth of exceptions and 5,000 invoices per year

• Liaise effectively between the business and external service providers

• Lead stakeholder management efforts for finance, procurement, suppliers, and service providers

• Monitor and ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs

• Manage Accounts Payable exceptions and queries, providing timely support and solutions

• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and service quality

• Provide training, create process documentation, and share best practices with the team

• Ensure compliance with European Payment Terms laws and local VAT & Tax regulations
