Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Acquisitions Executive to join our London-based team. Reporting to the VP of Acquisitions, you will play a key role in supporting the acquisition of high-quality non-scripted content. The ideal candidate will have some experience in sales or acquisitions within a TV distribution environment and looking to further develop their expertise in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately input programme and rights information into OTF’s rights management database.

• Critically assess non-scripted content for suitability within the international marketplace.

• Negotiate and prepare offers for new content opportunities.

• Prepare internal ROI analyses and financial projections for new content submissions.

• Attend industry networking events as required.

• Compile, maintain, and update internal tracking reports.

• Support ongoing communication with existing clients, including providing feedback reports when required.

• Research and identify new business opportunities as directed.

• Participate in producer meetings alongside the VP of Acquisitions.

• Monitor industry press to stay informed of emerging trends and opportunities.

• Coordinate programme information across internal departments, including Operations, Legal, and Sales.

• Support the VP of Acquisitions in identifying and developing opportunities for Insight TV Originals.

Experience required

• At least 2 years working in sales or acquisitions within a TV distribution environment

• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• A good understanding of the non-scripted marketplace and current industry trends.

• Previous experience working with international production companies and/or broadcasters.

• Highly organised, proactive, and responsive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
