Psicon Ltd, a leading neurodevelopmental healthcare service working closely with NHS trusts, is recruiting an experienced ADHD Nurse Prescriber to join its clinical team in Canterbury. The ADHD Nurse Prescriber will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing ADHD, prescribing appropriate treatments, monitoring medication pathways, and ensuring clients receive evidence-based, holistic care. This hybrid role combines in-clinic patient interaction with remote working and offers flexibility to suit individual circumstances.

This opportunity is ideal for a qualified nurse prescriber with ADHD experience who is passionate about delivering patient-centred care and contributing to a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments and evaluations, diagnosing and providing detailed clinical reports.

• Review clients already diagnosed with ADHD, delivering holistic care including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.

• Initiate, titrate, and discontinue ADHD medications (stimulant and non-stimulant) as appropriate.

• Manage a caseload of clients through the medication pathway, ensuring reviews in line with Psicon protocols and NICE guidelines.

• Generate prescriptions, monitor treatment effectiveness, and ensure safe, appropriate prescribing practices.

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, the internal clinical team, and external healthcare professionals.

• Stay updated with ADHD research, guidelines, and best practices.

Person Specification:

• Qualified Mental Health Nurse with independent non-medical prescribing qualification (V300).

• Registered with the NMC with evidence of current and valid registration.

• Demonstrable experience in ADHD assessment, treatment, and prescribing.

• Strong ability to handle crisis situations and provide effective interventions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.

• Capable of working independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

• Committed to maintaining compliance with company policies, regulations, and professional standards.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per year (£4583 – £5416 per month).
