Description:

The Cyber Security Academy Southampton, in partnership with the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), is seeking an Administrator to support the Research Management division. This part-time role provides crucial administrative support to ensure the smooth running of research management activities, contributing to NIHR’s mission to improve health and care through world-class research.

Key responsibilities include managing diaries, organising internal and external meetings, preparing and distributing agendas, taking meeting notes, coordinating actions, and ensuring timely follow-up. The Administrator will also maintain electronic and paper records, provide guidance to colleagues, act as a first point of contact for queries, and support the continuous improvement of administrative processes.

Requirements / Skills:

  • Experience in administrative or secretarial support

  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders effectively

  • Strong planning, organisation, and time-management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in office software, Google Docs, and database management

  • Ability to provide informal training and guidance on administrative tasks
