Advanced Clinical Practitioner | Part-time
Make a meaningful impact as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, working as part of a primary care at scale group delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to the local community.
Minehead Medical Centre is looking for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team, to help us to transform and modernise pathways of care, enabling the safe and effective sharing of skills across traditional professional boundaries.

If You
- Are a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner with current NMC / HCPC registration
- Hold an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent Level 7 qualification, including a recognised Advanced Physical Assessment and Minor Illness/Injuries modules
- Are a certified Independent Prescriber (V300)
- Have primary care experience, including minor illness management
- Are confident in managing whole episodes of care while working collaboratively within a wider multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning and sound decision-making
- Have excellent communication skills, patience, and a friendly, approachable manner
- Are able to perform effectively in complex and high-pressure situations
- Are flexible, proactive, and able to inspire and lead others

What You’ll Work On
- Delivering safe, effective, and compliant care to patients across the practice
- Making autonomous clinical decisions in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Managing planned and urgent primary care presentations, including minor illness
- Working closely within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time
- Contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement, alongside the Lead Nurse
- Providing clinical leadership within the practice and supporting high standards of care
