Analyst

 

Description:

Your role in SPENs transition to a data driven environment (treating data as an asset) and ensuring security and interoperability (with accountability) throughout the organisation will be vital.

You will contribute by:

  • Facilitating project planning workshops/sessions to create detailed project plans.
  • Supporting project delivery by owning the milestone plan, this includes development, planning, maintenance and control of project and the implementation of the governance model (i.e., plan forecasting, output reporting, KPIs, metrics, risk registers, process and document control).
  • Completing quality assurance to ensure all relevant business process’ and policies are be adhered to.
  • Having responsibility for monitoring and reporting on performance against project deliverables and analysing data to identify areas for development.
  • Ensuring the production of accurate and up-to-date information for the Management Team and Director.
  • Assisting the co-ordination and internal stakeholder management of projects and managing project overlaps, dependencies and risks.

 

What you’ll bring

Experience of at least one of the following:

  • Data Governance – support the development of Data Governance policies and practices to support our ambition to become a data driven organisation.
  • Open Data – support the development of policies and risk assured processes for meeting our licence obligations with regards to a presumed open approach to data in line with Data Best Practice and ensuring that significant volumes of external stakeholder needs are met.
  • Information Systems – support the team in leading and influencing external industry developments and ensuring our systems are innovative and effective in supporting us in meeting our RIIO-T2 and RIIO-ED2 commitments.
