Analyst - Events And Merchandise

 

Description:

We are looking for an Events & Merchandise Analyst to join our Communications & Brand team in London.

Duties And Responsibilities
 

  • Internal event/campaign production and support, working in partnership with stakeholders to produce and deliver internal events (e.g, education sessions, speaker sessions, inclusion and diversity and charity events, client entertainment etc) on time, within budget and meets expectations.
  • Supporting external events, assisting in the creation of collateral and branded goods in partnership with Brand, including planning, execution and evaluation elements
  • Provide support to any key sponsorships from the planning stage, execution and evaluation. This will involve presentations, creative thinking, teamwork, working with Brand to design promotional goods, creating surveys, collateral and budget management where appropriate.
  • Provide support to Head of Creative Services and Head of Content Management/external comms to deliver company headshots acting as an assistant in creation of video or photography content as needed.
  • Creation of intranet banners, posters as needed under the direction of Head of Creative Services
  • Assist in the drafting, editing and distribution of internal communications as needed. Ensure all are of a high standard and are distributed in a timely manner.
  • Upload relevant internal communications content to the intranet in a timely manner. Assist in the creation and distribution of print and electronic collateral
  • Raising purchase orders, logging invoices and ensuring suppliers are paid in a timely manner. Ensuring budgets are adhered to on projects and delivered in line with expectations.
  • Sourcing of promotional items, liaising with agencies and working with the brand team to apply the branding, being proactive and suggesting new ideas for goods such as environmentally friendly alternatives. Ensuring that goods are available for the business for events such as conferences and client events.
  • Build relationships internally with key stakeholders so as to develop and implement a broad range of internal activities.
  • Act as a brand and values ambassador for Mizuho EMEA. Support the Communications and Brand team in all internal communication requirements for MHI and ensure communications are consistent with the other Mizuho London entities.
     

Qualifications, Skills, And Experience
 

  • Experience of working in the financial services, and in a similar role.
  • Excellent organisation skills, with meticulous attention to detail to ensure events run smoothly
  • Strong track record as an implementer with a can-do attitude who thrives on managing a number of key initiatives at the same time.
  • Self-starter – able to work independently, enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives, but is also a strong collaborator across all groups.
  • Ideally use of InDesign and Photoshop, with a flair for design and brand and creativity.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail
