This is a full-time, on-site permanent opportunity focused on the development and maintenance of credit card-related applications for one of the largest banking institutions in the UK.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality, customer-centric software. You will be directly involved in shaping digital banking experiences used by millions, working closely with designers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications.

• Lead and contribute to technical decisions and strategy.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and clients to create seamless user experiences.

• Build efficient, reusable components and services.

• Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and trends in Android development.

• Mentor and support junior developers and foster a collaborative team environment.

Essential Skills:

• Deep understanding of Android UI design principles and best practices.

• Experience with Android SDK and development for various screen sizes and OS versions.

• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, push notifications, and cloud messaging.

• Familiarity with the open-source Android ecosystem and standard libraries.

• Continuous delivery and integration practices.

• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.

• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in financial or banking app development.

• Ability to understand and design user-centric mobile interfaces.
