Application Developer

Description:

The Advocate Group is currently seeking a talented and driven Application Developer to join a leading energy brand's Business Capability team. Based in West London (Hybrid), this position offers the opportunity to work on transformative and cutting-edge digital platforms that support regional operational growth and innovation.

As part of an Agile team, you will be responsible for developing scalable, intuitive, and high-performing applications using modern front-end technologies, contributing directly to the company's digital evolution. This role blends creativity and technical expertise, ideal for candidates passionate about clean code, user-centric design, and collaborative delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop modern web platforms using Angular (v16) and Tailwind CSS

• Collaborate with Project Managers to define scope and complete sprint objectives

• Translate complex business requirements into user-friendly, scalable solutions

• Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical documentation and excellence

• Work cross-functionally to support ongoing digital transformation initiatives

• Ensure applications are responsive, optimized, and aligned with UI/UX best practices

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in developing digital platforms (internal or B2B)

• Strong command of Angular and Tailwind CSS

• Hands-on experience with Gitflow and version control protocols

• Deep knowledge of responsive design and front-end performance optimization

• Excellent communication skills and proactive, solution-driven mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Agile environments and delivering internal systems

• Formal education in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

• Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to simplify complex processes
