Architectural Modelmaker

Description:

Tekuchi are expanding, and we're very excited and proud to be recruiting for our Architectural Modelmaking shop here in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior model maker to join our dynamic and growing team of highly skilled model-makers at our workshop in Chertsey.

Requirements:

- Use Rhino, AutoCAD etc. to prepare drawings for model production

- Use laser cutting machines and SLA 3D printers

- Spray paint components using a variety of paint types, HVLP guns and airbrush

- Use workshop machines (Band saw, table saw, bench sander pillar drill etc.) safely and proficiently

- Use hand skills/tools to assemble model components precisely and with a strong attention to detail

Essential Skills:

- Proficient in the use of hand tools and workshop machinery

- Accomplished in the use of CAD packages (Rhino Essential)

- Training in the field of Model making (BA (Hons) Modelmaking, or similar)

- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work within designated time frames
