Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an Area Sales Engineer for a leading manufacturer of industrial lubricants and cutting fluids. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities across The Midlands and Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, market-leading company in the industrial lubricants and cutting fluids sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a range of cutting and forming lubricants, backed by world-class on-site services.
- Drive metalworking revenue growth within the territory by identifying and satisfying customer needs.
- Maintain and develop existing accounts and the customer base.
- Identify, qualify, and convert opportunities for direct sales and new specialty distributor partnerships.
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure opportunities are prioritized and managed for optimal conversion.
- Coordinate with the Metalworking lead to grow new and existing business opportunities.
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering disciplines is advantageous, though not essential.
- Significant field sales experience with the ability to position benefits and leverage cross-selling opportunities.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to drive sales growth through various channels.
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and understand the customer decision-making process.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively at all levels.
- Knowledge of industry updates and applications and their impact on value propositions.
- Must have the ability to travel and hold a valid driving license.
