Are you interested in a career in the arts and events sector and looking for an opportunity to gain and develop new skills while learning on the job and being paid?

Working in the Economy and Culture team and reporting to the Arts and Culture Officer, you will get involved in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of a range of events, including the Basingstoke Festival, and community-focused arts projects. You will learn about how to organise events, how to assess event applications, and about how to support a range of artists and community organisations. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside the economic development and place marketing teams and get involved in supporting the development of marketing campaigns and business events and engagement activities.
