As an Assistant Activities and Leisure Manager, you’ll play a central role in delivering exceptional service while motivating and training your team to excel. You’ll work directly with the Activities and Leisure Manager, ensuring that all sports, leisure, and pool facilities are managed to the highest safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of all guests and staff within leisure and pool areas.
  • Deliver comprehensive inductions and ongoing training for Lifeguards, ensuring legal and safety compliance.
  • Manage and deliver engaging sports and leisure programmes that entertain guests of all ages.
  • Maintain pools and associated equipment to ensure they remain in excellent condition.
  • Oversee smooth seasonal openings and closings, ensuring all procedures are followed.
  • Ensure all RLSS and STA standards are upheld, with thorough safety checks and compliance monitoring.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current NPLQ Lifeguard qualification.
  • Current Pool Plant Operations certification.
  • Ideally, an RLSS or STA Trainer qualification.
