About the role

To deputise for the Head of Area as required. To assist the Area Head in the operational management and quality assurance of programmes within the area and to ensure and to promote the quality of teaching and learning on all programmes. To act in a line management capacity for a number of staff within the area. This role will include reduced teaching hours in order to carry out the management duties and this reduction is reviewed annually.

About you

You will be an experienced, qualified teacher with significant knowledge and experience of current best practice and innovation in a relevant trade, with experience of direct course leadership. You will be committed to delivering excellent teaching and learning programmes to students of all abilities and have the desire take your career forward in a management role.
