Description:
The University of Nottingham is seeking experienced, customer-focused, and enthusiastic individuals to join their Halls Management team as Assistant Hall Managers. These roles support Hall Managers in the day-to-day operations of busy student Halls of Residence, ensuring high-quality service and efficient management of accommodation and housekeeping functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing and organising student accommodation and housekeeping operations.
Carry out administrative and operational duties to maintain high standards of service throughout the student journey.
Ensure adherence to University policies, codes of practice, and Health & Safety regulations.
Conduct service and operational audits as required.
Contribute to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for students.
Key Requirements:
Significant experience in a similar role or environment.
Strong planning, organisational, and administration skills.
Demonstrated resource management experience.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work flexibly on a rota pattern covering shifts between 8am–8pm (36.25 hours per week). Compressed hours are available.
