Savers Health Home & Beauty is seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager to join its dynamic retail team in Darlington. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of daily operations, ensuring smooth store performance and high customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensuring all company policies are followed.

  • Lead and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.

  • Assist with inventory control, merchandising, and store presentation.

  • Create a warm and supportive work environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.

  • Drive sales and profitability through effective planning, execution, and delegation.

  • Build strong connections with the local community and represent the Savers brand positively.

  • Step up to manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail management or supervisory role.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and delegation skills.

  • Strong understanding of sales, stock control, and store operations.

  • Ability to build routines and identify opportunities to maximize sales.

  • Passionate about customer service, teamwork, and staff development.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
