Savers Health Home & Beauty is seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager to join its dynamic retail team in Darlington. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of daily operations, ensuring smooth store performance and high customer satisfaction. Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensuring all company policies are followed.
Lead and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
Assist with inventory control, merchandising, and store presentation.
Create a warm and supportive work environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.
Drive sales and profitability through effective planning, execution, and delegation.
Build strong connections with the local community and represent the Savers brand positively.
Step up to manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
Excellent communication, leadership, and delegation skills.
Strong understanding of sales, stock control, and store operations.
Ability to build routines and identify opportunities to maximize sales.
Passionate about customer service, teamwork, and staff development.
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
