What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Project Engineer to join the team at Galliford Try.
You will work on our South West Water Frameworks within our Environment Business, who are experienced in successfully delivering schemes of varying sizes, predominately to the Water Industry, across both Treatment Waste and Water schemes.
Ideally, you will based in or around the Devon/Cornwall area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region.
Our Environment Business has entrepreneurism and innovation at its heart. Part of your role as Assistant Project Engineer will be to share market leading suggestions and ideas with the Project Delivery team to lead the way in optimisation and performance.
As Assistant Project Engineer with Galliford Try, you will work as an integral part of the Project Delivery Team, assisting with completing site documentations as required, writing reports, and ensuring consistent standards across the project.
Day to day, you will collaborate with other engineers to deliver a safe working site, supporting with compiling and updating plans and works information, identifying any changes and reporting these to the Site Supervisor.

About You:
As well as a passion for your engineering discipline and logical and critical thinking skills, we are seeking individuals with a relevant engineering qualification in your chosen discipline. Experience in a national and multi-site business or Water Industry experience is desirable, but not essential.
Working on site, we’d like you to have ECS, SSSTS, SMSTS, City & Guilds Confined Space Training, City and Guilds Top Man Confined space training, EUSR (Clean Water Hygiene), Appointed Persons for craneage. However, we will support you in covering any training needs.
