Description:
Psicon is inviting skilled and compassionate ADOS clinicians to join its Independent Clinical Network. In this flexible and impactful role, clinicians will provide high-quality autism diagnostic assessments (ADOS) for children and young people within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) framework. The position supports flexible, in-clinic working across various models and locations, offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to timely and meaningful neurodevelopmental diagnoses.
Clinicians must be HCPC-registered and may come from a wide range of professional backgrounds, including Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, or Occupational Therapy. This role is ideal for experienced professionals passionate about supporting neurodiverse individuals and their families while enjoying the autonomy and flexibility of independent work.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough and high-quality ADOS-2 assessments as part of a collaborative MDT.
Communicate effectively with neurodiverse children and families, ensuring a supportive and respectful experience.
Produce detailed, timely diagnostic reports aligned with Psicon's standards.
Engage professionally with internal teams and external partners.
Participate in optional CPD activities such as Reflective Practice Meetings, ADOS Q&A sessions, and reliability workshops.
Requirements:
HCPC registration (essential).
Certification in ADOS-2 (essential); experience with all ADOS modules and BOSA is highly desirable.
Clinical background as a Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, SLT, or OT.

Ability to work across various clinic settings and schedules.
Strong written communication and IT literacy skills.
