Description:
Robert James Coaching is seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate OCD & Anxiety Coach to join its growing team. The role focuses on helping individuals overcome Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety using structured, values-based programs grounded in acceptance, mindfulness, and somatic awareness. This fully remote and flexible position is ideal for a professional passionate about guiding clients toward emotional freedom, self-trust, and a deeper mind-body connection.
The successful candidate will deliver 1:1 coaching sessions (and occasionally small group sessions) through Robert James Coaching’s established frameworks, including the Break Free from OCD Program and the Sensorimotor OCD Program. You’ll receive full training in these programs while being encouraged to bring your unique perspective and intuitive presence to each client session.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver structured 1:1 coaching sessions and occasional group programs focused on OCD and anxiety recovery.
Integrate embodiment practices and nervous system awareness naturally into coaching sessions.
Track and report client progress, ensuring consistency and collaboration with the broader coaching team.
Participate in mentoring and supervision calls to refine techniques and maintain high-quality client outcomes.
Support clients in learning to stay with discomfort, building resilience, and reducing avoidance behaviours.
Apply acceptance-based approaches (such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness).
Guide clients toward greater self-awareness and empowerment through somatic and nervous system regulation methods.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience in coaching, counselling, psychology, or trauma-informed practice.
A strong foundation or interest in acceptance-based work (e.g., ACT, mindfulness).
Understanding of or curiosity about somatic and nervous-system regulation approaches.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to hold compassionate and grounded space.
Balance between structured program delivery and intuitive, empathetic coaching.
Willingness to participate in training and continuous professional growth.
