Their stakeholder engagement team works on large infrastructure projects across the UK, engaging with technical and community stakeholders to maximize the benefits of infrastructure development.
The team is expanding due to new client projects, and they are seeking Principal and Associate Consultants to join them. These roles will involve managing impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, and consultation. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering assignments for existing clients, liaising with new clients, managing project teams, and contributing to new business development efforts.
This position is available in multiple locations, including London, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Cambridge, Reading, Cardiff, Bristol, Southampton, and Brighton.
Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver impact assessments, evidence reviews, and policy research.
Engage with technical and community stakeholders, ensuring a positive interaction and understanding of infrastructure’s impact on local communities.
Line manage project teams, ensuring efficient delivery of projects.
Contribute to winning new work and growing the business.
Support in designing and undertaking qualitative and quantitative research.
Write reports and deliver presentations.
Advise on equality, diversity, and accessibility in projects.
Requirements:
Degree qualified (2:1 or above) in social science, humanities, or a related discipline, or in transport planning, town planning, or regeneration.
Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
Strong report writing and presentation skills.
Familiarity with UK infrastructure sectors and planning regimes.
Understanding of social science and research, especially related to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Desirable but not essential: Masters degree, experience with environmental impact assessments, and knowledge of sectors such as transport, water, and energy.
