Description:
OSTTRA is seeking a highly experienced Product Analysis and Design Associate Director to join its London office. This is a full-time, on-site role within the Technology Team, which is focused on developing and managing high-performance, scalable platforms critical to the global capital markets.
As a key player in OSTTRA’s Trade Processing division, the successful candidate will work across the MarkitWire, Trade Manager, and TradeServ platforms, primarily for Rates, Credit, and Equities asset classes. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between product management and technology delivery teams, managing requirements analysis, stakeholder engagement, and testing to ensure efficient delivery of enhancements and platform innovations.
This role requires a seasoned professional who thrives in a high-paced, global environment and is capable of leading critical analysis and design efforts across the product lifecycle.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and document functional specifications
Perform gap analysis and convert findings into user stories or functional specs
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation
Conduct user acceptance testing and review test cases
Present concepts and requirements publicly and internally
Contribute to the strategic roadmap for product evolution
Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external clients, clearing houses, and regulatory bodies
Utilize your knowledge of OTC derivatives, regulatory reporting, and trade lifecycle processes
Participate in or lead Agile Scrum teams as a product owner where required
Develop and communicate UX requirements through wireframing when needed
Bachelor's or Master’s degree (preferred in a relevant field)
10+ years of experience in business analysis or product design in capital markets or fintech
Solid grasp of financial derivatives and post-trade processing
Familiarity with data formats/protocols like XML, FpML, FIX/ISO 20022
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and Visio
Experience with SQL, object-oriented concepts, and UX/UI design tools
Demonstrated commercial awareness and understanding of global regulatory environments
Strong communication and analytical thinking
Ability to work effectively across multiple global teams
