Associate Electrical Engineer

Buro Happold is recruiting for an Associate level Electrical Engineer to join our award winning and dynamic Building Environments team in our Londonoffice.

This role is suited to a candidate from a Buildings background looking for an opportunity to pursue industry leading designs within a vibrant multi-disciplinary practice.

This role will see you leading MEP projects, along with inputting to, and assisting with leading the electrical team on projects in the London area and further afield.

We are ideally looking for a versatile candidate who wants to play an active role in technical delivery, project management, mentorship / line management, and business development.

You will be joining a growing UK MEP team of over 190 Engineers and Technicians, and drawing upon the diverse skills and knowledge of other connected disciplines, including sustainability, building physics, fire engineering, facades, lighting, technology, and more. This role will give you a wide breadth of technical exposure and enable you to push the boundaries of sustainable design.

You will be working on some of the most technically challenging projects in our portfolio - recent examples include
 

• Marina Residential Tower, Athens – (Foster & Partners) – Greece’s tallest building will also be an exemplar in sustainable design.
• Barbican Renewal, London – (Allies & Morrison & Asif Khan Studios) - A once in a generation opportunity to be involved in the low energy refurbishment of an iconic, unapologetically modernist building.
• Canning Town Masterplan – (Jestico & Whiles) – As part of our multidisciplinary design team supporting the development of an estate regeneration masterplan on a 10ha site with a brief to deliver 1,750 homes.
