KMA Legal Recruitment is representing a top 50 national law firm seeking an experienced Employment Associate (3+ PQE) to join its London office. The successful candidate will handle a broad and stimulating portfolio of employment law matters, including advisory work, litigation, and transactional support, while serving an impressive roster of clients across multiple sectors such as finance, logistics, mobility, technology, and retail.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice to clients on all aspects of employment relations, including policies, procedures, and workplace disputes.

  • Manage employment tribunal litigation, including case preparation, document review, and representation in hearings.

  • Support corporate transactions with employment law due diligence and contract review.

  • Advise on redundancies, dismissals, discrimination claims, and other complex employment matters.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver integrated legal solutions.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years PQE in employment law, gained at a leading UK or international law firm.

  • Strong academic background and a deep understanding of UK employment law.

  • Proven experience advising corporate clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a client-focused approach.

  • Commitment to maintaining the firm’s high standards of quality, ethics, and collaboration.
