his is an exciting opportunity for an Associate Transport Planner to support the leadership of the transport planning business in the North West, based in Manchester – joining a growing team of over 80 planners, policy makers, strategists, modellers and economists working across the North West and Yorkshire region

With the rapid pace of transport devolution, major scheme programmes across the North-West and in particular the delivery of Transport for Greater Manchester’s (TfGM) ambitious agenda, our work across transport planning, place making and strategic advisory is becoming more diverse and impactful. Arup is at the forefront of the agenda, our work leading the North-West Rail Vision for the Liverpool-Manchester Rail Board, rail devolution in Greater Manchester, Manchester Clean Air Zone, Active Neighbourhoods and the TfN Strategic Transport Plan are just some examples of the local, regional and nationally significant programmes the team you will be joining are currently delivering.
