Fellows Auctioneers Ltd, established in 1876, is one of the UK's leading auction houses, offering a wide range of goods, including fine jewellery, luxury watches, antiques, and collectables. With our continued growth and investments in technology, we are expanding our team and seeking Auction Administration Assistants to ensure the smooth operation of our auctions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unpack and sort deliveries, addressing any discrepancies.
- Prepare lots for viewing, including ticketing and layout.
- Support in-person and online viewings.
- Participate in auction day activities.
- Arrange customer collections and dispatch goods post-auction.
- Address client queries, liaising with the accounts team as needed.
- Respond to customer enquiries and collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Business Development, and Events.
Qualifications and Skills:
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Strong organisational and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Trustworthy and reliable, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (training on Microsoft Dynamics provided).
- Interest in auctions or related fields is advantageous but not required.
