Description:

Kingsley Recruitment is retained by one of the UK’s largest independently owned auction houses to appoint a Land & Property – Auctions Manager for its Northwest-based office. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity offering a lucrative compensation package with career development potential for a highly motivated and experienced property professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow the land and property auction portfolio through active identification and acquisition of auction assets.

  • Accurately value properties based on type, condition, and location using MRICS standards.

  • Oversee marketing strategies to ensure maximum online exposure and visibility for listed assets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including landowners, developers, local authorities, buyers, and sellers.

  • Handle enquiries through CRM systems, coordinate with marketing teams, and ensure stakeholders are kept informed about updates, auction schedules, legal documentation, and bidding processes.

  • Conduct anti-money laundering (AML) checks on vendors and properties before marketing.

  • Collaborate with vendors’ solicitors for legal pack preparation and ensure proper documentation is structured, stored, and shared effectively.

  • Apply knowledge of contract law to assist with the sale, exchange, and completion of transactions.

  • Manage transactional elements such as notifications of purchase, deposits, and invoicing processes.

  • Represent the organization at industry events and professional meetings, acting as a trusted face of the brand.

Qualifications & Skills (Essential):

  • MRICS qualification (mandatory).

  • Strong experience in land and property acquisition/disposals.

  • In-depth understanding of property law and GB regulations.

  • Ability to provide accurate property valuations.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Professionalism, integrity, and a client-focused approach.

  • Competency with CRM platforms and property listing portals.

Desirable:

  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, Acrobat.

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

  • Solid understanding of construction and building practices.

  • Effective project management and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.
