Menzies LLP, a leading UK accountancy and advisory firm, is seeking a talented Audit Senior to join its growing Audit & Assurance Corporate Team in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).

• Supervise and review the work of junior team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm standards.

• Provide coaching and mentorship to support team members’ professional development.

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.

• Work directly with clients, providing high-quality service and building strong professional relationships.

• Collaborate with managers and partners to ensure assignments are completed on time and within budget.

• Utilize a range of digital audit tools and technologies to deliver efficient and high-quality work.

• Identify key audit risks and ensure appropriate testing and documentation are completed.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

• ACA / ACCA / CA qualified (or equivalent).

• Recent experience in audit and assurance within an accountancy practice.

• Sound understanding of audit methodologies and financial reporting standards (UK GAAP).

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• A proactive attitude with a commitment to high-quality client service and continuous improvement.
