Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated Azure IT Support Engineer to join a growing Manchester organisation in a period of digital transformation.
You will be responsible for providing support, troubleshooting, and management of cloud based infrastructure within a Microsoft Azure environment. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.
What will you be doing:
- Provide 2nd support for Azure cloud services and infrastructure
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize Azure environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, liaising with vendors where necessary
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and automation of cloud services
- Implement and maintain security best practices within Azure environments
- Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to improve cloud infrastructure
- Provide technical documentation and training for internal teams
Desired experience and skills you will require:
- Proven experience in an Azure IT support environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, Azure Active Directory, Virtual Machines and Networking
- Microsoft Azure Environment Setup and Management
- Experience with Azure monitoring tools
- Understanding of ITIL principles and service management frameworks
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently
- Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104, or similar) are highly desirable
- Microsoft 365 Administration and application support
- Microsoft Intune
- Windows Server Support (Active Directory)
- Windows Desktop OS Support (Windows 10 and 11)
