Their goal is to democratize real estate investment globally using Web3, AI, and blockchain technologies.

They are now hiring a Backend Engineer to join their London-based team and contribute directly to the evolution of their groundbreaking property investment platform. In this impactful role, the successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain critical backend systems and contribute to architectural decisions that influence the future of the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend systems for a property investment platform.

• Create and manage scalable APIs for frontend-backend communication.

• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure system performance, scalability, and security.

• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to convert requirements into technical implementations.

• Troubleshoot backend issues and continuously optimize systems.

• Drive the adoption of secure and efficient development practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of backend development experience.

• 2+ years of hands-on Go (Golang) development (must demonstrate via GitHub or interview).

• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture.

• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• DevOps practices including CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes.

• Strong grasp of data protection and backend security best practices.

• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with GraphQL.

• Knowledge of Web3, blockchain, and smart contract development.

• Familiarity with AI-driven systems.

• Prior experience working in PropTech or similar startup environments.

Non-Negotiables & Working Conditions:

• Full-time contract position initially.

• Salary: £2,000/month with potential transition to a permanent position post-Seed Round, including equity/share options.

• Office Location: Hammersmith, London.

• Working Pattern:

  • Monday – Remote

  • Tuesday to Friday – On-site
