Back End Developer

Venchr are helping develop advanced analytics software for global credit investors. We

currently work with the world’s leading investment banks, asset managers and hedge

funds, are growing quickly, and constantly strive to be the must-have data analytics

product for global credit investors.

We are looking for an experienced API developer. This key position will

champion API-driven thinking throughout the organisation.

Responsibilities:

● You have extensive experience of designing and developing open APIs in a

Finance/FinTech environment and have driven its utilisation across many clients

● You want to play a critical role in the growth of our company’s core

technology - existing API layer supports the users’ entire application experience

● You are interested in working in a start-up environment with fast growth

potential that prioritises innovation

● You have strong soft skills to communicate, collaborate and inspire

Requirements:

● Extensive knowledge in API design standards, patterns and best practises in

REST, Swagger, microservices, and API gateways and solid experience in their

implementation

● Main implementation/development languages currently include Python,

Java, Javascript, and Node.js

● Knowledge of AWS services
