You’ll need to have a good grasp of Java, Java EE, Spring, and database experience (Postgre, MySQL), and be used to creating APIs, servlets and microservices, alongside possessing a familiarity with Linux.  It goes without saying that security should be at the forefront of all your work.  Having a grasp of other programming languages is also beneficial (particularly C, C++, C#).  Obviously, you’ll need to understand the basic admin processes such as Git and Jira

We believe in creating practical, real-world solutions, so we’d like you to be willing to learn about smart home and marine technologies to enable you to produce your best code (an existing knowledge of either would be beneficial).  

We are seeking creative software engineers with the ability to think outside of the box.  Being able to work as a team and to remotely collaborate is key.  Location is not critical, as we provide employees with the ability to work from home, but you would need to be in the UK.

Successful applicants would be able to work on a wide variety of projects, and would be expected to bring new, fresh ideas to the table to help further Intrinsic Group's offerings alongside helping to provide creative solutions through collaborative discussions.
