Bid Manager

 

Description:

This is a full time, permanent role, offering remote working with the possibility of going into an office close to you if you wished to.

We are looking for a Bid Manager to work closely with the wider charity team, leading on writing compelling bids that align with the charities strategy. The charity are already on with gaining the opportunities, and are predominantly looking for someone who enjoys writing, and can demonstrate creating strong bid proposals.

As well as this you will:

  • Maintain the bid and tender documents through the whole process
  • Manage the content of proposals across multiple divisions
  • Complete pre qualifying questionnaires and manage information through relevant tender portals
  • Monitor the progress towards each submission’s deadline date is planned and tracked
  • Creation of clear and persuasive documents

The person

This role would suit someone who has experience in a similar position, and is able to work as well as

  • Experience of bid management, bid response and proposal delivery
  • strong commercial awareness.
  • Knowledge of the charity sector would be advantageous
  • Strong proof-reading and editing skills, with an exceptional eye for accuracy
  • Being experienced in managing project deadlines for up coming opportunities
