Viewpoint Housing Association, a respected Registered Charity founded in 1947, is seeking enthusiastic and skilled individuals to serve as Non-Executive Board Members. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of a major provider of housing and care services across Edinburgh, Fife, and the Lothians.

Managing around 1,400 properties, Viewpoint delivers sheltered, amenity, and general needs housing, as well as operates two care homes offering 24-hour nursing care—including specialist dementia support. The organisation’s mission, "Joy in Later Years," guides its commitment to ensuring independence, dignity, opportunity, support, and personal choice in later life.

Who Should Apply:
Viewpoint welcomes applications from candidates of diverse backgrounds. However, they are especially interested in individuals with expertise in the following areas:

• Asset Management or Development

• Lending, Borrowing, or Financial Funding

• Governance, Audit, or Risk Management

• Health & Social Care sectors

Role Details:
This is a voluntary, non-executive position. Board Members will:

• Attend 8 board meetings annually

• Participate in one full Strategic Planning Away Day

• Join sub-committees where applicable

• Attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in September, where new members are formally appointed
  All reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
