Description:

The role is a part-time role, but a full time role might be considered for the right candidate. You will support the Accounts and Administration manager in providing an efficient accounts and administration service, focusing on the bookkeeping aspects of the department.

Key responsibilities:

  • Daily cash book reconciliation including entering the data into an accounting software
  • Reconciliation of company bank accounts
  • Checking client orders that have been entered
  • Processing Company credit cards and obtaining receipts on a weekly basis
  • Download UPS invoices and manage queries
  • Collation and preparation of supplier and ad-hoc payments twice monthly
  • Staff Expenses
  • Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts including accruals and prepayments
  • Preparation of company VAT returns
  • Posting Journals
  • Maintaining accurate information and obtaining documentation in relation to exports and imports
  • Analysing customer card payments on a monthly basis
  • Support with the credit control process
  • Work closely and assist other finance staff to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters including sales and purchase ledger
  • Assisting in client order processing as and when required.
  • General administrative work relating to account and office management
  • Maintaining orderly client files and filing system.
  • Systems housekeeping in relation to client and supplier data / information.
