College. The postholder will be responsible for employer engagement and student recruitment activities.

The post holder will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of vacancies and applications linking directly to a specific project aimed at increasing participation of female and BAME applicants entering apprenticeships within STEM industries, specifically motor sports. The post holder will deal directly with employers, applicants and other third-party stakeholders.

The post holder will support the employer and applicant from the point of application to becoming an enrolled apprentice. This is a business development role and will involve telephone and face to face discussions with new and existing employer partners.

In this role you will be joining our Apprenticeships and Business Development Team, who will be on hand for support throughout the duration of the role.

Responsibilities include:

• To have a stronger understanding of brokering relationships with employers and other key stakeholders, developing timely pipeline to lead to t he successful completion of the project.

• To gain an understanding of the auditable requirements of any new apprentice and employer looking to begin an apprenticeship.

• To maximise the local opportunities available for employers and applicants, whilst ensuring the on boarding process is robust and in line with funding and audit requirements.

• Understanding and articulating the bursaries available to employers and applicants via this project.

• Responsible for keying data for apprenticeship enrolment/employer incentives and all other DAS related requirements.

• Take an active part in the College’s enrolment dealing face to face/via telephone/virtually with employers and applicants, processing applications, responding to queries and providing regular updates to third party stakeholders.

• Contributes to the College culture and strategic objectives and works collaboratively with the colleagues in other departments.

• Contributes to the College mission to work together to create a better future for all through education, enterprise and employment.
