This is a business development associate role supporting the Infrastructure Global Manager of Strategy and Marketing and Business Development (M&BD).

Job Summary

    • Report to Global Manager of Strategy and M&BD and assist in coordination of the GBU central M&BD organization
    • Assist in coordination with the Business Managers of Business Development
    • Assist in coordination and supporting the Proposal Team in development of proposals

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists the Global Manager of Strategy and M&BD in facilitating the development of prospective projects through the Business Development process, including coordinating meetings, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Administers the business development tool (e.g. Dynamics, Power BI, and MI reporting on prospects) and maintains records of prospective projects, customer, and competitor information
  • Assists in the preparation and monitoring of various business development activity reports and internal communications materials such as newsletters, dashboards, audio, and video media as required. This includes preparation of screening material and Win Plan reviews for prospect reviews with the GBU senior leadership.
  • Performs analytical and/or information-gathering assignments for the Global Manager of Strategy & Business Development or as delegated
  • Assists in the development of marketing information and materials for the M&BD department.
  • Assists in the development of proposal material
  • Assumes day-to-day responsibility for BD team administration, including curating knowledge, M&BD Talk videos, templates, lessons learned for use across the global team
  • Creates, maintains, or improves cross-departmental relationships and relationships with key stakeholders to ensure cohesion and enable team success
  • Coordinates development and/or implementation of strategic business development and marketing initiatives
  • Facilitates and improves the M&BD processes and procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity
  • Facilitates bi-annual customer survey within the Infrastructure business unit Liaises with Project Managers for assigned projects/customers in the engagement and follow-through on the customer survey process and results
  • Keeps up with industry trends by reading, sharing, and archiving relevant news and literature with relevant teams
  • Works closely with the GBU senior leadership team, including Functions, Communications, General Managers, Sector Leads, CFO, Legal, and with the President’s office.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of company policies and management directives related to contract and proposal formulation.
  • Skill in computer software applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook, Dynamics, and Power BI)
  • Demonstrated ability to perform research and analysis.
  • Self-directed, requires limited daily supervision or guidance.
  • Proven ability to think adaptively and work effectively in fluid environments.
  • Ability to problem solve across various areas of the business and develop solutions to support the business.
  • Is flexible and willing to perform varying duties depending on the shifting needs of the team
  • Able to work collaboratively with teams and other departments and effectively within a large, global organization
  • Ability to influence internally without direct authority with strong covenant-based behavior.
  • Is effective, versatile and action-focused
