We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales and business development professional to lead the growth of a rapidly expanding sector within our award-winning company.

As our Business Development Director, you will be at the forefront of expanding Corndel’s market presence by formulating and executing our business-to-business sales strategy.

You will drive the sales of our Software Engineering and DevOps programs, engaging with high-level decision-makers in the UK tech industry. Your role will involve understanding their needs and collaborating to design and implement effective training-based solutions. As a core member of our New Client Acquisition team, you will work closely with Corndel’s Marketing, Account Management, and Customer Success teams to craft and implement a successful sales approach, resulting in exceptional solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Championing the growth and evolution of Corndel
  • Pursuing ambitious sales targets with dedication
  • Adopting a research-based and consultative approach to comprehend our target clients’ strategic goals and integrating levy-funded programs as part of the solution
  • Collaborating closely with the marketing team to create resources and coordinate focused marketing campaigns
  • Cultivating strategic partnerships with technology companies to help them meet their workforce development objectives
  • Nurturing ongoing strategic client relationships to drive repeat business
  • Identifying opportunities to cross-promote our leadership and data programs
  • Engaging top-tier decision-makers through a consultative and collaborative style
  • Developing and delivering impactful presentations and proposals
  • Assisting the broader Business Development team by providing training and enhancing their understanding of our technology programs
  • Eventually, building, leading, and developing a high-performing team
