Business Development Director

Ivee, the UK’s dedicated return-to-work platform, is partnering with MWM, a respected specialist professional services firm, to appoint a Marketing & Business Development Director. This role is specifically designed for experienced professionals returning to work after a career break, offering a senior, flexible position with meaningful impact.

Reporting directly to the firm’s eight partners, the Director will have the opportunity to shape the firm’s marketing agenda, strengthen its brand presence, and coordinate business development activities. As a newly created role, it offers significant scope to design and drive marketing initiatives in line with MWM’s growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead firmwide branding initiatives (website, brochures, sponsorships, social media).

• Support proposition and product development with competitor and market analysis.

• Review and enhance written materials (pitches, proposals, client reports).

• Collaborate with partners on thought leadership and industry content.

• Strengthen knowledge management by improving CRM and database systems.

• Provide day-to-day business development support to three Practice Groups.

• Organise client-facing events, including marketing campaigns and client dinners.

• Assess and develop potential partnerships (coaching, diversity initiatives, international collaborations).

Candidate Requirements:

• Extensive senior-level experience in marketing and/or business development.

• Proven track record in professional services sector is highly desirable.

• Strong communication and content development abilities.

• Strategic mindset with practical execution capability.

• Confident in engaging senior stakeholders and driving new initiatives.

• Proactive, organised, and commercially focused professional.

Contract Details:

• Part-time role (3 days per week).

• Flexible working arrangement (Hybrid).
