Yolk Recruitment are working on behalf of a fast-growing procurement SaaS business who are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Executive. This is a brand-new role for the company, who have an established Business Development and Customer Success team to take on full responsible for revenue generation and braking into the private sector

You will be working for a family run business who have just had major investment from an international company, they offer a complex SaaS procurement solution which is currently really successful in the public sector, with their services been utilised in Central Government.

This is an ideal role for an experienced Business Development Executive or Sales Development Representative who is looking for a brand new opportunity where they can help mould the strategy.

With the head office based in Cardiff, this person will be expected to go into the office 3 days per week.

 

 

What are the responsibilities as a Business Development Executive?

  • Generate sales opportunities by proactively reaching out to key stakeholders in businesses managing e-procurement, offering expert advice and tailored solutions.
  • Be the go-to expert, providing top-notch support and guidance to customers in selecting the perfect product range to meet their needs.
  • Seize every chance to upsell and maximise revenue growth by responding to incoming queries and leveraging existing customer relationships.
  • Be a dynamic sales powerhouse, making proactive outbound calls to engage and captivate potential customers, generating leads, and exploring exciting commercial opportunities.
  • Keep track of your sales journey using our cutting-edge customer relationship software tool, ensuring no opportunity slips through the cracks.
  • Collaborate closely with our marketing team to fuel the lead generation engine and fuel our success.
  • Embrace networking and occasionally represent our brand at trade shows and events, connecting with industry professionals and establishing new relationships.
  • Show off your flair for crafting technical proposals to meet clients' unique needs, supporting our new business team when required.
  • Develop and nurture a strong lead pipeline, working hand in hand with our field-based business development team to unlock cross-selling opportunities and maximise revenue potential.

 

 

What Skills/ Experience do I need?

  • For this role as a Business Development Executive we are looking for someone who has;
  • Experience in an outbound sales role generating new business
  • Demonstrable track record of smashing phone-based sales targets and delivering exceptional performance.
  • Provide support and guidance with excellent customer service skills.
  • Thrive on identifying and seizing lucrative commercial opportunities through a consultative and strategic approach.
  • Harness the power of LinkedIn to drive new business and get a head start on the competition.
  • Build strong relationships and spot new business prospects.
  • Master the art of persuasive and compelling proposal and quotation writing.
