As a Business Development Executive, you make a vital contribution to the success of the business. As part of our sales team, you will focus on the Midlands area, manage your own portfolio, seek out opportunities, drive sales, and deliver optimal solutions for our customers by working closely with our product team. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Keep up to date with the latest market trends ensuring we stay competitive
  • Sales & New Business Development in a multi-model position (Air and Ocean freight)
  • Be the subject matter expert in your area and the developer of customer solutions, maintaining and improving customer experience
  • Build pipelines, maximise profitability of the business and operations by delivering a sustainable financial performance and goal accomplishment
  • Improve capacity management & planning
  • Raise our client relationship to the next tier and ensuring our value proposition is matched with the client’s expectations

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in new business development
  • Commercial experience in air and ocean freight (Air freight only is also an option)
  • Driven, resilient, thinks in solutions and opportunities
  • Excellent and adaptive interpersonal skills
  • Sales force experience would be advantageous
  • Have integrity and Love a challenge, and has a positive outlook
