Business Development Manager

 

Description:

We are looking for an ambitious, tenacious and target driven Business Development professional to help us in growing our apprenticeship provision further, bringing in new employers and maximising business within current accounts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate new leads and opportunities to build a sustainable and successful pipeline of sales activity with employers of all sizes, across all sectors, resulting in achievement of KPI’s.
  • Support businesses with apprenticeship vacancies and identify areas for workforce development through apprenticeships from level 3 to level 7.
  • Deliver reailistic targets through effective sales and marketing activity with employers, maintaining accurate meeting pipeline reports.
  • Support employers with an understanding of the Apprenticeship Levy and how they can optimise it with the training solutions we offer.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of new employer accounts within a variety of business sectors, growing our learner numbers and ensuring an excellent service delivery to our clients.
  • Working with our marketing team to create effective material to increase brand awareness
  • Attendance apprenticeship specific and networking events to promote our offering.
  • Contribute to the development of our marketing and sales strategy

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Current proven experience of business development and meeting/exceeding targets within apprenticeships.
  • Experienced in delivering the full sales cycle, from initial calls (both cold and warm) to securing contracts and moving the sale through to account management.
  • Proven B2B sales experience, self-motivated and comfortable working within a target driven and pressurised sales environment.
  • A great listener, matching your approach to employer requirements and values, and able to understand what employers need.
  • An engaging communication style and able to build authentic and collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
