Description:
A fantastic opening has arisen for a Business Development Manager in one of the UK's premier law firms. The role will be based in the firm's London office and will provide business development support to the Private Individuals Division, comprising the Family, Private Client and Court of Protection practice groups which are core to the firm’s private wealth sector focus. It will be your responsibility to drive forward initiatives that you feel would directly impact on the success of the division. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Business Development and Marketing, the Business Development Manager will work closely with the Head of Divisional Strategy Team Partners, who lead the practice groups, and the Private Wealth sector leads. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a Business Development Executive and will need to build strong relationships across the Marketing and BD Department to maximise the efficiency of the department, to deliver service excellence and ensure the successful execution of both the Private Individual Divisional strategy and the wider firm strategy. The Business Development Manager will be heavily involved in strategic business planning, the development of CRM programs, bids and proposals, including coaching senior internal clients on their delivery, and detailed research and analysis. The second half of the role will be strategic marketing and the successful candidate will be involved across the full marketing mix. With extensive relevant experience in broad-ranging marketing and business development roles gained in a law firm or professional services organisation, the ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the private wealth sector.
