Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join one of the largest, most successful Construction Equipment Rental companies in the UK. Operating across the Birmingham area, you will join this market leading organisation and hold responsibility for selling a range of equipment on hire including Plant Machinery, Tool Hire, Power Generation, Powered Access, Welfare Hire, Telehandlers and more.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Meet sales revenue targets set by the organisation
• Develop new business opportunities through lead generation
• Be responsible for maintaining existing accounts and maintaining customer relationships
• Build long term relationships with key stakeholders and accounts
• Manage the sale process via the company CRM system ensuring upkeep and maintenance of records.

Requirements of Role:

• Previous experience in a Sales or Business Development role
• Hold market knowledge of the Plant Hire, Tool Hire, Power Generation, Welfare Hire, Site Accommodation, Powered Access, or Construction Hire markets
• Demonstrable background in Account Management
• Hold a UK Driving Licence
