Description:
The successful candidate will be utilizing their networks and business development capabilities within the Fluid Power Market to drive new business growth across the region and servicing existing customers.
Reporting to the Senior Management Team this role is very much multi-purposed and will require the successful candidate to manage the day-to-day sales and business development opportunities, engaging with both existing and new customers from a diverse range of industries with a view to increase market share of hydraulic systems, components, electronics and compressed air.
You will be required to get involved with budgets and quotations, which will also lead to liaising with colleagues in the internal Sales and Technical teams as well as Procurement department to prepare for bigger projects.
The successful candidate will need a good understanding of Fluid Power products and their market.
Key responsibilities:
Drive key account management process to achieve annual growth and margin targets
Acquire a full understanding of key customers needs and map customer organization at all levels to get desired insights
Identify right opportunities with the customer account to develop and deliver value-based offers for a win-win outcome
Achieve revenue and profitability targets through group industrial network and the distribution network in defined region
Ensure leads are well qualified and appropriate action for follow up and conversation to orders are met in a timely manner
Developing persuasive proposals and presentations for customers
Building relationships with key customer stakeholders including purchasing, procurement, and maintenance teams
Promoting long term business partnerships with key customers by understanding their objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes
Ensure communication and follow up quotes and enquiries to customers is regularly maintained and convert to orders
Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, customers and suppliers,
Participate in learning and development activities that develop personal effectiveness and assist in improving performance in the role
Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required in line with the level of responsibility of the post and to meet the changing needs of the organization
